Haven't heard about that review, but the symbol you wrote is a "less than" symbol. Greater than would be >2HP.

Let's face it... ALL manufavturers lie about the output of their engines, except maybe RB that just say that there's enough power lol.
My OS 30VG is specified to have 3+ hp, yet it dynos at 1,8hp.

I wonder what kind of gains you'd see if porting, modding con rod and crank and stuff the crank inteake on a CEN NX-76?
Or even a TTr .70 engine....

It's running good enough as is. Also I don't have the tools to get a mirror shine. Last but not least, I've heard different opinions on polishing.

The OS .30VG is very underworked and simple when it's stock. So i guess it's a very good candidate for porting. The stuff I did on it made a big difference in...

It actually "feels" like comp is up in my engine too. Could it be due to increased fuel flow and the fuel being directed away from the exhaust port?

Next engine will either be a RB TM928 or a Picco P3 28(that goes straight to ABmods for a stage 3 or what his best mod is called...won't even put it in the truck first). Ohh, and I'll order a roto...

I hope I get my tiger drive soon, should come this week. Don't know if it's just the .30Vg that has a really ****ty pullstart or if it's common to have to repair a pull start more than 5 times when...

Thought I'd replace the engine bearings since I've allready taken the engine apart.
Should I go with ceramic bearings both front and back?
Rubber sealed or metal sealed?

Replacement bearing for OS .30VG-P

Since I've allready taken my engine apart while porting it, I tgought I might aswell change the engine bearings.
Do you recommend ceramic bearings? Back and front? Rubber sealed or metal sealded?`...

What stage would you call this kind engine modding?

Ported sleeve
Knife-edged and polished con rod
Modified crank backplate
Polished engine backplate
Silicone plug in the crank fuel...

I've only run about gallon through this engine, the filter has come of once or twice, so I guess that's when the dirt must have gotten in there.

Yhanks for those nice words!
I've allready cleaned the crank really well using degreaser and some stuff you use in the kitchen to remove burnt food, grease or whatever...that stuff is really good....

Any better airfilters around? Using the type that came with the engine.
Links to ebay, a main tower etc are appreciated-
