What happened to my avatar? I liked it and now it's gone. It's trapped in an old computer that died. I definitely agree with complaints about the size of the text. My eyes are too old to read it the...

RE: Mixing in G4?

Never mind, guys. On further study of the G4 manual, it actually spells out the fact that there is no way to add any kind of mixing using the included radio. Looks like I'm going to have to bite the...

RE: Mixing in G4?

Already thought about that, but the setup to use your own radio in G4 is very user unfriendly. I used my own radio with Aero Flite Pro and AFPD. They were very easy to set up, but the setup in G4...

Mixing in G4?

I've been using G4 for a few months now and really enjoy it. The only thing I can't find any info on in the manual is a reference to mixing, in order to mix out unwanted coupling. I have only used...

RE: New Futaba 10C 2.4

I'm with you on that one. When I first saw the picture of the guy holding it, I thought, "Holy crap, Bigfoot has been bitten by the RC bug". Seriously, though, I really do think that the TX is normal...

RE: fancyfoam edge

You might also try moving the CG forward a little. CG position can make a huge difference in how the plane reacts to the control throws. But do yourself a favor, and only make one change at a time....

RE: What plane is this? Have pictures

That is the EZ Models P-51 Mustang, marketed by Sportsman Aviation in the early 1980's. It has been out of production for at least 15 years. The framing, both fuselage and wings was lite ply and...

RE: So what exactly is building??

I have built my share of models, and built from plans. I enjoyed the building and was proud of my results. But you builders that come on here over and over, giving the ARF fliers a hard time, and try...

RE: The new Lanier Edge 87"

I was with phoneman at the flying field today. He finally got the ZDZ running right. The Edge looks like a real winner. So far it looks like it flies pretty light. The landing approaches and...

RE: 50cc Yak Scale ????

Yep, sounds about right. The AI foam pilot I bought was a "C" size, but way too small.

RE: 50cc Yak Scale ????

I bought the 30% pilot from Aircraft International for my 50cc Yak QB, and it was too small. Actually, the head and shoulders are about the right scale, but the body is cut off just below the...

RE: Will W/H come out with a new Decathlon?

The problem with Sportsman Aviation's rendition of the Decathlon is that it had a very long, very unscale-like snout. I figured they must have added the extra length in the nose to get it to balance,...

RE: Will W/H come out with a new Decathlon?

There is a big difference between "Will WH come out with a 50cc Decathlon" and "would you like for WH to come out with a 50cc Decathlon". Besides, why waste the time to vote for the the 50cc...

RE: 260 33%

Dennis,

Have you double checked your CG? I'm sure you know that a tail-heavy plane tends to baloon on landing. I know I've had that problem with more than one plane.

RE: The new Lanier Edge 87"

Bill Hemphel admitted soon after that incident that the reason that the wing broke off in flight was that he forgot to tighten up the wing holddown bolt on that wing - not because of any structural...
