my tornado Xl runs best with the high end needle 2.5 -3 turns out.. its tuned now at about 2 3/4. jsut richen it up till it runs then tune it down

oh nevermind, just a little playing with it a bit more and i got the brake disc and coupler to line right up.. loc-tic blue on the grub , now i should be good to go.... just hope i spaced it...

thats what i thought but i cant seem to figure out it goes back together.. if i just tighten the grub the screw goes in way too far. also the dogbone doesnt turn the brake disc either. any pics of...

Here's a tech question for my redcat tornado XL.. was running it today and all of a sudden i noticed no brakes! ok so stopped it and found that the brakes wont engage and neither will the rear...

thanks again ehroof... i like the alum hexs, but what i meant was where the hex meets the wheel.. it fits into the plastic hex of the wheel itself.. are there any wheels that are metal on the inside...

on yet another note... i was driving it today and the left rear wheel stripped where the plastic hex and the wheel nut met and the axle would just spin but...

ok heres a noob question.. when u start the engine are u supposed to tune the idle so that the wheels dont spin when its on the ground or off the ground? i cant get em to stop when suspended on...

Hey thanks for the tips fellas. I got some 30W oil from the LHS and did my shocks. Taking them apart i found 1 slightly bent which i straightened and noticed that al 4 of the shocks were empty.. ya...

whats the secret to taking them apart to fill them, and where do i get the oil ,and what kind do i get. i never messed with shoks before, is it special shock oil or just 30...

ok well with the spacers the springs are stiffer, but the shocks seem to have almost zero dampening.. guess thats what i mean.. i want better dampening shocks. any idea where to find a set? aluminum...
