sounds familiar... i was at the track two weeks ago with my hellfire and i was doing great then it just died.. scared me because i thought it had locked up. I just had a rock between the spur gear...

I dont understand why so many people flame the HEllfire for racing. I have mine and love it. I can run with the guys at our track with their Jammin's and CEN's sometimes i win.... sometimes they do....

Is the 700 weight oil what came in the Diffs from the factory? i have the RTR and not sure about what weight oil came in my diffs.

i think thats where you pu t the NGK spark plug. I have also herd that putting a T in there and adding fuel works great aswell.

I think its because the RTR's do not come with the diffs shimmed properly. Which is the case with most RTR's. THey just throw them together and thats it. i have rebuilt mine with all new components...

HPI HEllFIRE DIffs

Has anyone else had problems with thier hellfire stripping out the pinion gears in the diffs? i have had it do it serveral times even after shimming them. SOme help would be great. Any aftermarket...
