the 6v regulator actually has dual power leads going to the rx. there is the dedicated leads (marked with red) and the male lead marked with white also outputs 6v as well :)

what model regulator do you have? keep in mind that each of the leads is capable of handeling up to 5a current...

I would suggest to use a slightly longer bolt or replace the nut with a new one...
