RE: 1/8 electric or nitro buggy

I feel sorry for your 1/8th if you're actually cleaning it that fast... What about clutch maintenance? Or cleaning of the radio tray? Just inspecting, de-burring and polishing the clutch bell should...

RE: 1/8 electric or nitro buggy

RE: Im in the market for an new .21

You're at least admitting they can "hang" with high dollar motors. and yes I'm full aware that they are different when it comes to tuning. Once you figure it out though it's as easy as any other...

RE: WD40= AfterRunOil ? Expert Opinion

Hmm, maybe next time I decide to run nitro I'll put some ARO in it first and let sit for a year. That way it'll be twice as fast! [X(]

RE: WD40= AfterRunOil ? Expert Opinion

Yea, but what do you mean by "worked better'? Are you trying to say you got more performance from using Blue Block as opposed to wd40?

RE: WD40= AfterRunOil ? Expert Opinion

Ok broham... ARO has nothing to do with how your engine performs in the short term. [sm=idea.gif] If the engine ran better it was only your perception.

RE: WD40= AfterRunOil ? Expert Opinion

I used wd40 in both my Go-Techs when I was racing. But only for storage. I had 13 gallons on my 3 sport then I sold it for $40 bucks and the next guy used it all season. So no, WD40 won't hurt your...

RE: Im in the market for an new .21

[sm=lol.gif] Are you guys still spewing that crap?? The Go-Tech 5 and 7 port will run with any engine out there. Anyone who says other wise is lying or just doesn't know how to tune a Go-Tech.

RE: low cost engine or used?

So for $20 bucks more your getting performance similar to a $400 or $500 engine? Because you realize there isn't much in the way of engines that outright out perform the Go's.

RE: low cost engine or used?

+1 on Go Tech. Pretty much the best value in engines. But I wouldn't get a 5 port, they're to much for a buggy. The 7 port has all the bottom end you could need not to mention endless top end.

RE: Thinking about getting into racing

Bro, I'm sure you love your Hyper. But it doesn't compare to a modern race buggy.

RE: Thinking about getting into racing

I would say about a grand. You have to factor in things like, a starter box, extra tires, charger for the receiver pack, glow ignitor, servos...

That being said, The D8 is supposed to be...

RE: which .21?

The reason you hear so much about GO's is because they're something to talk about. I mean you've got all this performance for a fraction of the cost... Of course your going to hear a lot about them,...

RE: Losi 8ight 2.0 or Mugen MBX-6?

This is true even of the original 8ight. It's so easy to tell the 8ights are just drive different, in a good way.

RE: Blade Cx Performance

Yea, move them out to the 2nd or 3rd hole. But be careful because it will resond much faster and catch you off guard.

RE: Are Blade CP's really that bad for a first time CCP Heli?

Ok, that makes sense. So the tail on a belt driven is actually controlled by a separate servo? and controlling the tail via pitch is better than rpms?

RE: Are Blade CP's really that bad for a first time CCP Heli?

That bad huh? What to do, what to do.... I would LOVE to get the 400, But I really don't want to wait much longer than I already have to:p So why is it that non-belt driven tails are so much harder...

RE: So I tried flying my CX2 without the tail...

Just ordered an M3 boom tonight :D So am I going to have to mess with the trim seeing as how the tails have different profiles?

So I tried flying my CX2 without the tail...

and it acted like squirrel on crack. [&:] It would get about 2 feet in the air and just start shaking violently. Why would this be? I figured the CX2 doesn't really need a tail to fly...

Are Blade CP's really that bad for a first time CCP Heli?

Thinking about maybe upgrading to a CP Pro 2 when they come out.. from a Blade CX2 my 1st and only heli. But I keep reading that there really hard to fly and having a tail motor is a nightmare..
