Don't know if transitioning into the commercial drone market had anything to do with it as well. They have a bunch of drones on the market that run in the $10-20k range now.

Aurora 9x as well. Maybe they have a new radio coming. Aurora 9 is old by now hasn't it been at least 10 years since it came out? Hope they didn't discontinue the receivers! The A9 is my main radio...

The Cularis isn't really meant for low flying near ground and does have a hard time keeping speed up when power off. The reason people are saying it is tip stalling is because your altitude is too...

I am very impressed with the cularis at thermaling, was thinking of getting a carbon sailplane but this is one tough/good 103" plane for thermaling and wind, may just get another cularis..

Sure. The dx6i only has 2 mixes, but crow still possible you will just have full up or down movements.

YOUR RX:
-using a y harness with built in servo...

Why when flying close to the ground (40-50ft) with the cularis or any sailplane you get extreme ground turbulence (tips and shakes), but 100+ feet up the flying is smooth as silk with no problems?...

I am able to run full house on my dx6i want the setup?

with the help of a servo reverser, I can do:
airbrake (both ails raised)
crow (ails up flaps down)
ails
rudder
elevator

For Q#2 I mean my flap is on a switch so all the way down and back up level with wing is all i can do with flaps (full crow) Hmm have to see if i can't put dual rates on the flaps...

Uhh there is metal in the easy glider pro.. Servos screws, motor metal z hooks on servo arms, etc etc ANYWAYS, It was touching the motor... Even in the ar500 manual says avoid that long tip on the rx...

how can you latch it securely w/o rubber bands?

Tried freeze pop stick it doesn't work..

can't use magnets because operating a camera near it..

I don't think its the rx. Maybe i should just rebind it. Other than than the other 5 flights were great, an dI also forgot another possibility that the tip of the ar500 shouldn't touch any metal on...

I have my EZGP setup like this:

AR500
2s 3000mah
Mix1: ails and rudder
Mix2: ails only

I don't know if it was a brownout or what but i went into this nose down spiral for about 8...
