Do Hitec servos work with JR receivers

I'm about to do a guillow's conversion using hitec HS 55 servos will thes work w/ a JR micro 6 ch receiver or 4 ch gws receiver

My question is the title. What is the smallest servo mini, micro, sub micro. And further more does any company make a smaller servo than the next.
