Smaller pinion= more acceleration and less top end (but you get low end torque)

Larger pinion= more top end and less acceleration (slow out of the hole)

Spacing the wheels out? Now there's a thought. There is enough space inside the body to space them out without cutting the body too. But I think I won't get away without cutting the wheel openings....

26mm wheels on my TC3. The rims are binding a bit on the upper link ball hoods. Can I shave some material off the inside of the wheel on a lathe, or do I have to go to a 24mm wheel?
