To bad. There are some nice boats to be had out there. Just have to put in the foot work to find something nice. And like other class boats quality and price can go from one extreme to the other....

Run 2.4 in all my sailboats my Footys , My Victor v32 and my ODOM never had any type of problem as far as range and losing signal.

I use the Airtronics RDS8800 2.4 in most of my boats. I have had no problems with it. the 2.4 can not be used in submarines.
