It would be nice for a teenager like me to win a nice helicopter. :) Probably not likely, but its worth a shot. I've been practicing scale flying with my belt cp.

I don't fly jets, but there is a field in Concorde by the Lowes speedway that has a paved runway and is quite large and open. It looks okay to fly jets there from what I've seen.

I have been flying planes and helicopters for awhile, but now I want to start building. I know how to cut balsa and stuff with an exacto knife, but I want to take the next step and start fabricating...

Inexpensive brushless power?

Does anyone know of where I get get inexpensive brushless motors and ESC's suitable for ducted fans? I am considering a few foamie EDF projects, but the prices for electronics are scaring me away....

I was there, all I saw were the two planes hitting the ground. There were alot of crashes that day, I lost 1 plane and damaged my helicopter.[:o]

I loved that Porter though, I wish it didn't...

It ways about 20-23 ounces when finished, but thats with the pusher prop in the back. Its wing loading is about 14 oz/sq ft.

2 crashes in 1 day.

Well today was my most destructive day at the field.:D

My first crash of the day was my E-Sky Belt CP, I was doing some circuits around the field and suddenly noticed my helicopter twitch once....

You could get a programmable radio so you can adjust pitch and throttle curves. It would also be a good idea to upgrade the main motor to brushless, and get a seperate heading hold gyro.

My Evo became easier to tune after putting an O-Ring around the carburator barrel. They don't come with one, just a little metal washer on the inside. Big Evo fan.:D

I have a Esky Belt CP, it flies great, and is compatible with alot of T-Rex 450 parts.

On the other hand, E-Flite's Blade 400 has a Spektrum 6-channel radio, and it a pretty nice helicopter.

I have the same red and white T-Rex blades on my Belt CP.:D Thats a nice fleet, my fleet is only a CX2 and my Belt CP, but I love it.
