Why not try one of the Trinity Monster Max motors 550? They are also big can motors like the Titan, and you get a choice of turns (19, 17, and I think 15).

Did you test with multiple receivers to find out if it was the transmitter or receiver? I'll probably run that test since I have three to work with. It would be nice if it was just a bad receiver...

Check to see if your dual rate steering is what is limiting your travel. Just bump it up to 100%
