Yes, you have the right idea about the tubes. This is the website I looked at for them. http://www.modelelectronicscorp.com/view_products.php

RE: A123 bettery for a Trex 450?

Both RCGroups and HeliFreak have great articles about the A123s. They are cheaper and very rugged compared to lipos. You can also use them in power tubes if you aren't a fan of soldering. The best...

RE: Carrying case

I would also be very interested in seeing some pics of the case too. I am sure I will get the flatmax, but would like to see pics of how you set it up yourself.

RE: CopterX vs Trex 450SE

RE: New Trex T-rex 450 SE V2 RTF RC Helicopters Basic Kit ???

Don't do it!! This guy only has 7 feedbacks. You have no idea if this guy is honest or not. Don't take a chance, go with a reputable dealer. It just ins't worth it to buy off of ebay. What if...

Robert,

I am sorry to hear about your bad experience. Have you tried calling them on the phone? Sometimes that is better than an email. It is worth a try. We all make mistakes, I don't think...

RE: Problem with SE V2 belt

No need to get personal. I think you need to either get a grip on yourself, or stop posting here. This is not how mature adults behave. Calling names is more of an 8th grade thing. Of course, we...

RE: Problem with SE V2 belt

If I remember correctly, in the Finless vids, Bob describes the correct tension; when you push on one side of the belt, it should almost touch the other side, but not quite.

Also, if there is...

RE: HS-5000,L2100, 401 or 7703D

I don't know about the Hitec, but after asking around myself and reading posts, I ended up buying the LT2100. It is about half the size of the very good and very popular Futaba GY401, but about $35...

RE: What a coincidence!

How would you say the Hurricane 550 compares to say the TRex 500 in terms of quality of parts, availability, and price.

Thanks much,

RE: What a coincidence!

I am also considering the CopterX 500. This, of course, depends upon the quality and the feedback given. If/when it ever comes out, that is.

RE: A123 how many charge a day ??

Charles, I hope it is ok that I ask this question on this thread-I don't want to "hijack" it or anything like that. My question is, what kind of a charger do you use? I know you have talked about...

RE: flybar length

Are the 335's hard for the stock Align motor, the G version, not the X, to keep up? I imagine they are nice and stable, especially with the 220 flybars.

RE: Align RCE-BL35x esc

RE: flybar length

That's right. It is the same concept as the blades. For example: the 315mm blades are more responsive and less stable than the 325mm blades. It follows with the flybar as well.
