Wow this brings back some memories. This kit was a Christmas gift when I was a kid - probably 1986-1988 or so. The build started in grade school and probably finished sometime late in high school....

I stood underneath the tailgate of the Tahoe, that took care of the transmitter. I didnt hover a lot so that water wouldnt pool on top of the gyro. Oh, and i spent a lot of time inverted :)

Raptor frames love CA glue. It melts it somewhat. Some CA and some doublers are all you need. I make the doublers from carbon fiber if I have it. Better stuff to use is stock from an old Raptor servo...
