I think that the difference between the two is the style of thermometer probes used.
It does not take the place of a transponder. It has a personal lap counter which is triggered by a Infrared...

All you need to do is buy a Y-harness to plug both tele and transponder to AUX/battery port.

I use it for races as well...I just give the telemetry pager to my pitman and he does all of my needle adjustments on the fly. He will make sure that the motor temp is optimal and that the engine is...

Yes...I run Spektrum's telemetry on my Futaba 3PK with Spektrum DSM module. All you need to make it work is the SR3000 receiver (Only) and you must run it on the PPM setting on your radio. I ...

It fits like a glove. No problems at all...simple swap out. Comes with everything you'll need minus the bearings.
