What o-rings are you talking about? The Rio has 2 o-rings in the water cooled coupler where the header pipe joins the tuned pipe, are these what you are talking about?

Ok, I gotcha on that JAW. I do that on my HPI Baja also to cut down on the clutch wear. That will def keep any clutch dust from appearing.

What about just tapping exhaust for a hose from cooling system? Might not be as cool as exiting under water but will probably help quiet it down a little.

Well I got it running( for a little while anyway) runs rough, had to lean out LSN 1/2 turn just to get it to fire. Factory servo and cable set up was way off also. It idles relatively nice, low too....

OK, I'm back. I had to run out and get some stuff. You know, fuel for the new boat, shaft grease and oil, ice chest with lots of soda( actually says to get this in the manual, hahaha) I will work on...

Yeah, if I decide to go for it hard I'll probably end getting something in the 84" range with twins and a clutch and reverse would be cool too.

This is my 1st rR/C boat of any kind so i am just 'soaking up' all the info I can. If it has a tendency to stall I think it would be ok to just turn up the idle a little.
