thanks Joe I am only using a 72mm prop but I will be trying a 70mm or maybe that 7016/3.

I just noticed that on youtube you can watch videos in high quality, right under where it show how many views it gives you the option for high quality.

makes a big diffrence

I think it's running wet for sure, I've adjusted the boat but haven't been back out yet.

I'm looking into all those things that could be wrong with the way the motor was acting, I'll let you...

OK I got some good runs out of the boat the other day, I ended up having to add some weight to the left side to balance the boat,
and that basically fixed the rolling over. The prop is balanced...

I don't think a huge pond will be big enough for the smallest gas powered boat, if this is the place you will be using it the most well I would look into a nice electric boat. your a beginner...

The boat is definitly barrel rolling, so that would be prop torque, and alot of it.

the strut is dead center and the boat is a tiny bit heavy on the side that goes down( right side from back)...

I was able to adjust the trim tabs but not much, I had to drill the holes bigger on the tabs so I could shift them around a little.

They are not an 8th of an inch up, but they are now 1/16th up...

I know what you mean about the trim tabs I'm fixing that and the turning fins I adjusted to not sit so low.

How deep should the turning fins be in the water?

the trim tabs are very low but not lower then the hull, I could raise them a tad but how will that help?

I'm not sure how they balanced it...

True I haven't yet, but it is balanced from WHH just not sharpened and polished.

that is probably the most of the problem.

finished my easy vee off and drove it today.


I am having a huge problem with it rolling over when I hit the gas, enough to where I can probably sink it if I'm not careful.

I thought the same thing, but Tony at whobbies said I should run it as to not melt the seals in the exhaust. it was easy enough to hook up so I'm using it.

I am just cooling my manifold and pipe, the motor is air cooled and has a clutch.

so will I need the water pump or will the water pickup be enough?

what about the manifold will it crack?

what about welding the pipe to the header and the header to the manifold flange would this...

I have a aircooled motor but a water cooled header and pipe, is there any way, not to water cool the exhaust?

We primed then sanded then primed again, Then painted the bottom black, flash dryed it then masked off
