not really. this is high end stuff for 500 bucks. a year ago older models from the same companies cost 600+
not saying it's cheap, only slightly cheaper than it used to be...

cheapest is amain at 385(-25) for the rtr.
the traxxas 2.4 radio is a very budget radio. it's not computerized etc. but the platinum rtr does include many more hop ups which may be worth it to...

the 10sc would be my choice. mainly because of the alluminum shock towers ans misc parts which are plastic on the jammin. then again it saves weight so it's a real toss up. i own a hyper mini st-e...

the fusion is a good tried and tested car. it's currently neing replaced by the fusio ex-1.5r so you migh want to wait it out. but it's definatelly a much better track car than the lx-e. bassically...

make sure it's not missing parts. ask him to picture everything hes going to send you. check for clutch shoes, flywheel, clutch bearing and bell, throtle and steering linkages etc. Because sometimes...

jp-1 is a good bet. dynamite pipes may work well as it's a dynamite made engine... 086 for top end power 053 from mid range power and 006 for low end....
