good choice on the Savage X.
your wheelie bar should have come with a bigger wheel. Put that on and it might help some. The F4.6 motor you have is torquey:) so you will have to practice throttle...

Check out this VIDEO. Savage X chassis, 2sp trans, Modified Picco .28. You gotta turn your volume up and listen for this binding sound that the drivetrain makes when it is rolled...

my guess is to get the longest and widest truck available. I think balance is going to be the biggest challenge.
1. widest suspension and tires possible
2. the hardest springs/ thickest oil...

somehow threw my tuning out of wack on the picco .28. It was nice outside high 70s. the carb began to stick open and at the time i thought it was a lean condition. i started messing with needles...
