RE: Warped Ailerons

Thanks for all the suggestions about my ailerons. I went back to the old heat and bend method. It seems to be woking. I left them clamped over night to cool. Seems to be working. I can't believe a...

RE: Deuces Wild conversion to gas

After waiting about two years for someone to answer my questions about an electric to gas conversion for a Dueces Wild Conversion, I took the bull by the horns and did it myself. I cut out the fire...

RE: Building a new Jet Legend CT-114

Dean W,
In answer to your questions, the turbine is mounted 1" aft of the central former. The FOD screen extends about 3/8" into the duct. Remember, I cut the duct away on top to get the pipe...

RE: Pica 1/5 T28 Engine Ideas

Theo,
I believe Yamada makes the YS engine line. I feel the YS 120 is 25% more powerful than an OS 120.
I think you are going to have a hard time coming in at less than 14# with all components...

RE: Pica 1/5 T28 Engine Ideas

Theo,
I just sold my pica 1/5 scale t-28. It weighed 14# and had a YS 120 for power. The engine was marginal for power. I would recommend a Saito 150 or 180 depending on how much your plane...

RE: YAK 18 P or PM

Mike,
Looks like your 2-view is the way to go on the aerobatic model. I just wonder what Claude's plane colors represented? I guess thats about it for me. Good Luck with your plane.

RE: YAK 18 P or PM

Mike,
Sounds like you are doing a bang up job on your Yak. The red color scheme on the original represents what? Air force, civilian, or what? Was the aerobatic plane painted differently than the...
