RE: BUSA Nieu 28

I've just acquired a gently used busa Nieuport 28 and was curious about the large amoubt of down elevator built in. Now I know. Does anyone know the recommended control throws; it didn't come with a...

RE: Hobbico Electristar Select EP Trainer RTF

Thanks for the info, but I think its time to move on to a more advanced plane.  Three seasons ( almost ) is pretty good for a trainer, but I see a low winged tail dragger in my future.

RE: Hobbico Electristar Select EP Trainer RTF

Regret to inform the loss of my beloved electristar. Totally destroyed the fuse, including the recently purchased lipo.
Oh well, time to move on. Let the healing begin.

RE: Hobbico Electristar Select EP Trainer RTF

I'm not an expert by any means, but I recall getting good flight times from the get go. I think it's more a function of getting a full chargw on your batteries. I can recall getting o good flight,...

RE: Hobbico Electristar Select EP Trainer RTF

I've been flying my electristar on 3000mah nimh batteries for a year now, and on a full charge I get about 12 minutes of mixed flying with a couple of landings and takeoffs thrown in. Yes it's...

RE: Hobbico Electristar Select EP Trainer RTF

The electristar was a good trainer at the time but it has had its day. If I were starting out today, I'd opt for the E Flite T34 Mentor. For a lot less $ than I paid for my e'star, you get a DX6...

RE: Super Cub

I have both the super cub and the hobbico electristar and enjoy flying them both. Both are excellent trainers. The electristar has the advantage if there is an rc club within a reasonable distance,...

RE: Hobbico Electristar Select EP Trainer RTF

I"ve had my electristar since July 07 and have enjoyed it very much. It was a great way to learn to fly with the buddy box system. I also have a super cub which I fly between charges and when I have...

RE: How much wind have you flown in with super cub?

I have flown my cub in wind so strong that when hand launched into it at full throttle, it just rose straight up like a helecopter. Its lots of fun, but definately a challenge.

You will find...

RE: Horrible Luck With Slo-V, will a Super Cub be any Better?

I agree that the Super Cub is a much bdetter plane to learn on than the Slo-V. It is heavier, faster, more manoeuverable, and can handle wind much better. It is also virtually indestructable. I have...

RE: e-flite s.e.5a
