Is the engine new? Are you new to nitro? If you are stick to the one you have so you can get used to it and learn how to tune it, if it is used it will make a good starting place for someone who is...

I had one and hated it, could not  hold a tune for more then about 5 minutes, it also made my truck run really really hot. I popped it off and boom, as good as new!

No, they mess with the tune and make it harder to get fuel to the engine, plus the revo already has one built into the gas tank

Thats why they call it a prototype, but I dont know why it would not run, all you would need is a different crank shaft modified for 2 pistons, otherwise they are simply just 2 different engines.
