I have No idea but i can say the one he replaced with was a lot bigger in actual size.... havent had a problem since.

I run my new ESC in the same position and left in the tupperware box. I personally like the water tight box.

If your getting blow over then i guess 1st thing to try is to shift the batteries...

i had the 3/4 throttle cut out ONLY on my nimh packs. I resolved the problem using the full throttle option. I dunno maybe my nimh packs had good C rating anyways but it was definately an ESC issue...

That beep would more than likely be the ESC and not the motor.... My ESC has been running perfectly for me although still only 5s. I will try it out on 6s sometime this week if you like??? i can post...

Works a treat on 5s with stock settings. Worked that well i couldnt be bothered to mess around with the timing settings. VERY pleased with the item.

Michael,

I would also recommend the Feathering shaft (check for binding too) and blade tightness... I know these are basic things but its usually the cause and gets over looked time and time...

Yeah that and the Spektrum being 1 of the very few RX's that doesnt have a BEC. All the same i FULLY tested it this weekend and can 100% confirm all is good. Very happy. Thanks for the info.

You are 100% correct. Stuck a meter on last night and got way over 7v :oops: my bad....

Hopefully the ubec will turn up today but after seeing that last night im 99.9% sure it will solve the...

Hmmn you could be right i wondered why my RX had no bec port and used the AUX instead... im going to put a meter and check the ESC plug to see what voltage i get down it.

Are you sure the Tamiya has NO bec??? i always thought they did. This doesnt explain when i run a regular 40mhz RX setup i have NO issues.

Ive not Fried the ESC it still functions correctly but ofcourse could be the the fault also. The RX is deffo fried.

Aerial was well paced and vertical-ish away from the chassis and any...

i would be very grateful if when you have 5 mins testing to see you 100% do not have this issue. try with it on your lap to see any small movement on the steering linkage.
