YS repair Q's for YS 110

I have a YS 110 that's exibiting bad idle and transition.
From searching this forum I believe it is the regulator. It starts fine, and high end is great, but it won't idle for more than 10 seconds,...

RE: Aero-Works Edge 540 .60/.90

I have to say that I'm very happy with my AW Edge.
I'm flying a YS 1.1 spinning a 14x10, 15x8, or 17x6 and have no problem pulling out of a hover with any of these props. Of course the 14x10...

RE: Early Christmas Gift (Schumacher Mini Monster)

Glad you're having fun.
As far as I can tell, this truck and the MG from Venom are the same truck with different bodies.
Anyway, GET BEARINGS. You'll be surprised with the difference it'll make...

RE: Mid air collision's What are the odds on this

hmmmm......
I kind of wonder weather it's my planes, or me. Hey Cory, let me fly some of your planes, and we'll find out.[:@]

RE: Mid air collision's What are the odds on this

If we didn't fly together, there wouldn't be much flying going on at our field. ;)

Ya know, it sounds tempting...... but the only good airplane I have is filled with kitty litter right now.

RE: Mid air collision's What are the odds on this

I'll tell ya, that Delta's tough. Unfortunately I'm down 2 planes now.
So far the cost is 2 airframes, 2 servo's, a great running OS .46FX, power switch, and 1 rx. I haven't completely gone...

RE: GWS RX - any anyone use them

IMO GWS rx's would be a bad choice in anything that flies faster than 20 mph. They are great for very slow fliers that you won't get very far away from yourself.
If you want an excellent small...

RE: .10 size aerobat????

Judging by how it flew my warbird, I think it'll be just about right in a 20oz sport plane.

RE: .10 size aerobat????

I've flown the engine in a .15 size ME 109. It flew it, but the plane was very heavy at 30+ oz.
I've been looking around at the Wattage Cap 232, Extra, and Ultimate. I like what I've seen so far.

RE: .10 size aerobat????

Thanks Lynn.
I've eyeballed that plane a couple times though I'm trying to find the plane without motor. I've got an Enya .15 and mini servos to put in a plane. I'm trying to find a .10 size...

.10 size aerobat????

I was hoping someone could point me to some places that sell .10 - .15 sized planes. I'm looking for a sport or pattern type plane. I'm not really interested in a 3D ship this small. I would prefer...

RE: RC Field/Club Locater Database - Are You Interested??

Good idea Greg. Though I can't get to your site because MSN won't let me register for some reason. If you email it to me I can put it on our club website, that way no one would have to register to...

RE: Transmitter Use At Your Field

This thread is a good read.

Our field doesn't limit how many radios are on or how many people are in the air (except at our fun fly), of course there's generally only 5 or 6 of us at the field...

RE: Modeltech Magic Extra

Thanks Jim, I agree that this plane inspires a bit of confidence. :D
I have taken my heat gun to parts of the covering, but haven't gotten close to any seams.
I'll keep an eye on the fuse, and...

Modeltech Magic Extra

I finally bought one of these planes, and have mixed feelings about it.

First off, I'll say that I'm a bit disappointed with the ARF.
The covering's great, and the plane seems built fairly...

RE: Flying Field Pics...........

None at all :D
However, it does have a habbit of putting holes in the covering of the tail feathers. The runway is actually packed gravel. The gravel averages about the size of your fingernail. We...
