Outstanding Pete! It really looks menacing (in a good way) in the air. Excellent landing too! I know my knees would have been knocking together, especially having to deal with the wind.

It is closer to 1/6 scale with a 48" wingspan. I never did get a chance to add the 1/6 scale Williams-Brothers Spandaus I bought for it, but I still have them so I can add them on...

My first scratch-built (Flying Models magazine plans). Power was an Enya .53 4-stroke.

Your welcome Pete! Thanks for the tips on the GP tripe. I was not aware of the landing gear issue...good to know before hand! I've always had a soft spot for the Dr1, since it was the first plane...

True enough, but keep in mind F 102/17 (and F 103/17 for that matter) were pre-production aircraft. The production triplanes did not have the curved leading edge on the stab. The official 'DR1'...

The one with the wing span listed at 30-3/4" I beleive is the Guillow's kit. It's primarily designed as a big rubber band powered plane but they describe glow power modifications in their plans. ...
