Are you modding the original AE knucks or RPM? A bigger bearing last much longer! I run ProTek R/C 8x16x5mm rubber sealed wheel bearings you can get (10) for $10.00, and they don't seem to wear...

Great to see the MGT is still being talked about! Took a new job and haven't had time over the last two years to fiddle much with my nitros! Living thru you guy's lately, great stuff!

only if you blow the current tranny! the LRP .32 will have a lot of low end! Vox hows the top end?

What ever engine you decide on, if it does cause tranny issues you can alway deal with that when or if it happens! IMO i don't beleive you will get that much more prower or speed out of the K5.9,...

Have you concidered an LRP .28 or Pico .28? If you go with either of these upgrading to the 8.0 tranny would be a good idea!

Hi rpms at idle? Check the carb. linkage, make sure the throttle trim is set correctly and go from there. if it's hi rpm idle it's either the trim or linkage took a hit and needs to be adjusted.

I have known for a long time the aftermarket upgrades existed. I bought my first MGT .21 new in 2002, if I remember correctly! I could be wrong, anyone know when the truck came out?

As far as the tranny goes get the 8.0 tranny off ebay any where from $60 to $90. I use the steel spur & support carrier that comes with it and just change the clutch bell from 14t to 18t for torque...

LOSB5110 .12 - .16 engines fits the Picco .28
LOSB5111 .21 - .26 engines most .28's

Sorry! Yes I was talking about the TT 17MM wheel hubs! I'm not even sure where you can get 23mm any more! Dace is gone, Integy, Losi, Cen maybe?

Yep thats it! I tried to drill them out to fit snug but they wobbled, so I over drilled them a little. They worked just fine! I run both 23mm & 17MM. 17mm Thunder tiger ST-1 $10.99 a set!

Can you get to the four screws that mount the pull start to the engine? If so no need to pull off and disassimble engine! It can be a real pain! Looks like a Losi spin start would fit that engine...

If you turn the steering wheel the other way do the wheels lock up (break on)? Sounds to like the steering & throttle/break are reversed! Try switching them!
