RE: Diff between Airplane & Heli TX

The heli sets cost more money! [&o]
Switches? I only use the switches to slow down other pilots from grabbing the transmitter from me when I fly over the pits!

 Horizon is still offering tons of 72mhz receivers. Just check their site. Oh btw, my lhs is selling them. If you are concerned, just send me the receiver cost plus 100% markup and I will send...

RE: Berg 7P rx ?

Will not work with PCM encoded signals or the Futaba 9z with the synth module. Everything else is fair game! [8D]

RE: Fox 40 fuel question

These engines will run fine on 10 - 15% nitro. To quickly tell which % your engine & glow plug want, remove glow driver after warming engine. If it slows down, you could try using more nitro.
They...

RE: Should i FLIP my Concept 30?

My limited knowledge of Concept history: spans late 80s to late 90s or over eleven years of Concept showing people the flying fun of helis. The order of models: DX, SE, SX, SR, SRT & SRX and the...

RE: cp blade tracking help

Live, if you want a higher head speed, you adjust the high blade lower (less pitch), if you want a lower head speed, you adjust the low blade higher (more pitch). BTW, when you check pitch, you are...

RE: Want to buy a new heli, what to get

Diver, yes I would consider the Blade CP. Start out stock. When you are ready for more flight time, set it up with a 8 tooth pinion, the stock flat bottom blades, both motor heat sinks, and a lipo...

RE: Blade CP: blade pitch varies with elevator input

Guys, just remember that is the main down side of CCPM. No tolerance for unmatched servo action.

RE: BCP-Post crash problem?

Dex, check the shear pin that connects the head to the main shaft. Hold the main gear still and then see if you can turn the head with a small amount of force.

RE: MAIN ROTOR GRIP REMOVAL FOR THE BLADE

Yes, they are hard at first because they have used some form of thread locking compound on the blade bolts. Some of the compound gets between the bearing and spindle. This locks the bearing to the...

RE: Blade CP Main Shaft Pin Tip.

I found that you can cut off the tip and tee of a small modeling T pin, hold it with a pair of needle nose pliers, and use a tack hammer to drive the pin out of the main shaft and head. You can then...

RE: The REAL park flyer solution

Well, let me stick my neck out here. I think the solution is time. This is not a park flyer versus other flyers issue. It's the old committed versus non-committed issue. When the non-commited moves...

Oh, I forgot the main subject line here. The REAL park flyer solution: the non committed will get bored and move to a new interest and the committed ones will move to protect their sport and expand...

RE: G3 simulater

Concept 30 needs more blade?

A parting thought T.J., a Concept VR is a 3Ding fool and you can still get parts for it. It came as a 32 and a 46 but it is still limited to 530mm blades. If you can get a used one cheap, I think it...

Concept 30 needs more blade?

As you found out, this engine and a SX is not a good match due to the 500mm blades. You must convert to a SR or SR-X spec which means taller mast, longer linkages, stronger head, and longer boom and...
