I use WD40 just like Phattracker.....I find that using WD40 keeps my one way bearing clean and it will get into every nook and cranny inside the engine. When I used to use after run oil the one way...

Whatever you decide to get my advice is to get one in kit form and build it yourself....It's the best way to find your way around it when it goes wrong...also the other advantage is you don't have to...

These are the only specs I could dig up....although the 5955 seems to have been replaced by the 7955 according to one of the sites I was reading

I've been using the HiTec HSR-5995TG.....is there any real difference between that one and the 5955?
I can't work out which is the better one for steering....I'm going...

Must admit I was gutted when I found out....specially when it was marketed as an all metal gear servo[:@]
Are there any servos that you know of that are all metal or do they all have a plastic gear...

Have to agree with you there....changed my stock rtr servo for an ACE DS1015 as I wanted a little more power and speed on the steering and it lasted all of 1 minute...and yes I had set it up...

According to other guys on another forum I frequent they would rather have the slight weight gain and suffer no breakages.
The other thing to do is fit standard and upgrade if or when you break it....

Yes the RTR is fine to get you going, just batteries and fuel to get and off you go, but...

Windowlicker.....If your shell is an rtr you will probably find the paint is printed on before they form the shell...if this is the case...

Mach 427 engine...love mine, it's had 8 gallons through it and the pinch is still brill....It's a hell of a mill and can be picked up on flea bay pretty cheap:D

Try putting a heavier/thicker viscosity oil in the centre diff so the power is more evenly distributed between the front and rear....worked for me when I had the same...

It's had a few upgrades since those pics were taken and the ST Pro wheels have gone as they were cracking something chronic.The cracking was causing the wheels to run...

Definately spend some time getting your epa's set up...it's not a quick job but when done right it saves you alot of money in fried servo's.
