Thank you for the recommendation. Alfa also makes an F-86. Do the two planes have the same performance or is there something about the Mig that makes it the better choice? Also, Hobby Lobby...

Here is a picture of the pipe as it enters the fuselage. I have at least twice as much open area as it leaves out the bottom. I'll keep you posted.

You are correct in what I am trying to do. If I end the exhaust at the bottom of the plane I will end up with residue oil all over the bottom of the plane including the main landing gear. ...

A pressure cowl sounds like what I need. Thanks for the explanation. What is a pressure cowl made of that will withstand all of the exhaust heat inside the fuselage.
