I get close to 8 minutes of basic flight with a pair of kong power 2200's.

I'm running the z20a-980, 15t pinion, 50t front gear, 20t owb, 61t main gear.

Could make a 4000mAh almost identical in size/weight to the zippy 3300. Would be expensive...

Am I the only one whose DX7 came with both the ratchet and non-ratchet tension bar thingy (that's the technical name right? :) )

The ratchet one was installed, the non-ratchet was in the bag...

So anyone with the stock plastic frame and gearsets w/ a z20a... do you get good gear mesh? I have the motor pushed back so it's within a hair's width of rubbing the frame, and the gear mesh is way...

The mAh rating actually is important, as my previous post shows, you need both the C rating and the mAh rating to determine the max current for the battery.

It's actually pretty simple. Just multply the C rating times the capacity and divide by 1000, and you get the current the battery can supply. So for example, your 12C 2200mAh would be...

You definitely don't want to use an underpowered wall adapter, it will most likely fry when the charger tries to pull 3A from it.

Those shafts run through a couple grooves on the aluminum washout slider, keeps the whole thing aligned nicely. There's a lot less slop with the full set of aluminum upgrades.

Wait I think I had that backwards. The dx7 is backward compatible with spektrum DSM receivers, it's the dx6 that can't work with DSM2 receivers, right?
