Stuck brush(es)? Maybe a weak battery as well. I'd loosen the mesh some and check all bushings/bearings on the truck to make sure it's a smooth roller.

50+ is easy to say/think. But in reality, it's probably 40. He said he used to run it at that high of gearing, and it's alot slower acceleration than it was before using the new lube. I say check...

I'd say they are extremely tough. I've yet to destroy my metal gears and yolks runnin a MM 6900 on 3s, with a fairly tight slipper. Now I have seen one guy have problems with the internal diff...

Lipo's really open up and seem to respond at or above 100 degrees. Keep em on the right side of 130 deg. and all should be safe. I think everything you know about batteries gets tossed out the window...

Transmission already has bearings, but what you should get is a steel idler and steel gear differential. That will eliminate the problem of stripping out the gears in the trans. case. The mamba max...

Not much difference. It's all in the batteries. You'd notice significant increases in torque and speed with a 2s lipo, and a 3s would just put it over the edge. You'd also need to change your gearing...

hchia gave you the answer you need. For a 13.5, which is a very popular motor for racing paired with a T4, you're going to want to leave the stock spur in and go with a about a 20 or so tooth pinion....
