I ordered the stock motor mounts and spur gear assembly today from Tower shortly after making my post. These will hold me over till the phats come in from FG.

Yah I oredered the spur gear and motor mounts for the buggy and will continue to use the stock pinion gear unless you guys say different. The only reason I wanted to keep using it...

Got the new motor in and broke in and all I can sauy is WOW. The difference is like night and day, the power from start to finish...the car almost seems to jump off the ground and go....

What would the factory needle settings be for that motor so when I screw it up trying to tune the X-Can, I can set it back to factory.

I now have a can marked in HUGE LETTERS that reads "RC GAS". It was as much my fault, if not more so, than it was his. My wife is not very happy at all but she will get over it....
