RE: Engine size for 66" Sea Fury

600gm of nose lead is a very large weight addition as it is dead weight and is only going to increase the wing loading, stall speed, landing speed and model inertia and provide no additional...

RE: Epoxy

Some epoxy has a pot(storage) life beyond which you may have problems. Also be careful of room temperature when applying it. If the room is too cold this can cause problems.

Cees
I have just finished my build of an old Graupner KF mk 111 kit. I do not have any control movements shown on the plan. Do you have any ideas on this.

RE: Airfoil site

Thanks Bruce. I am building a 58" wing at the moment from plans with a rib of about 18% thickness with max thickness at about 25% span.
I must play around with profili a bit.

RE: Acrobatic manouver "plans"

Try ` Senior Pattern association` on Google, and go to listing on left hand side `improve your flying skills`. There is quite a long listing there. Have fun.

RE: CD-Scaledesigns Albatros C.I kit development

At 82" span, this model is about 1/6th scale. The 160 hp mercedes D111 engine fitted to this a/c is a 6 cylinder engine and is about 4ft 6" long neglecting the prop. That makes this engine at scale...

RE: CD-Scaledesigns Albatros C.I kit development

Very nice subject on the go. However I would hope that the engine arrangement would be more flexible. This a/c is very suitable for a vertical engine installation and the first cylinder in line being...

RE: Brian Taylor Hurricane

Hi Larry
I have the early Brian Taylor Hurricane plan RM 87. This shows a root rib of 362mm and a cg position of 95mm from the leading edge at the root.
This gives a cg of just over 26%.
