RE: Upgrade an ARTF HBFP?

Oh, I forgot to say that I had bought 2 of the ARTF airframes to go with my RTF HBFP :D on your advice, by the way. One was for keeping intact to always have as a reference as to what the heli is...

Well, I crashed my HBFP today. [&o] I had reinforced my standard skids using all the mods I have seen on here and they worked, in that my skids survived the crash. But what did happen is that 3 of...

RE: just got a hbfp and have tons of questions

I certainly understand your frustration as I have made very slow, if any, progress on learning to hover and looking for any new methods to help in the training. I am thinking about your idea to...

RE: just got a hbfp and have tons of questions

Before I build one of these things the question is: Do you feel like it is helping you to learn to fly? Is it worth the time to build it and is practicing on it improving your ability to control...

RE: Crashed my HBFP

Those 4in1's are pricey. I hope that doesn't happen to me. That's partly why I crashed today. I paniced and killed the throttle to save the 4in1 and lost control.

RE: Crashed my HBFP

Since I will be working on this part I wonder if I should go ahead and wrap the other unbroken side at the same time to make it stronger before reinstalling it. Maybe it won't break as fast.[X(]

RE: Crashed my HBFP

The bird was sliding sidways and downwards and I was so focused on killing the power to save the 4n1 (I don't have a fuse) that I killed the throttle before I tried to apply aleron to right it. I...

RE: Another new HBFP pilot here

planepounder, and others, what sim did you train on? Is it best to use your radio with the sim port and cable and that FMS software or the sim kit like that $20 sim ESky device, or something else?
