I can't tell from the pictures so maybe someone who has seen them both can answer this. They both have the same length but it looks like the i53 is taller. Is that the case?

If the motor is the brushed 400 that came with the kit, it could be that your brushless ESC is incompatible with the brushed motor.

You have to add a switch between the ESC and the receiver.
i put mine facing down in the receiver bay.
The little two prong connector coming off the ESC is not a switch connector. tape over that...

E-Flite LP5DSM range increase

Hi all

Just woundering if anyone has had sucess increasing the range of a E-flite LP5DSM?

Would increasing the voltage work?

Maybe using a DX6 battery???

Ideas? comments?...

They said they will replace the plane. VERY NICE of them to do that

There is new technology coming out that uses a GPS like hardware to access the internet. and GPS and video links would resolve the "line of sight" issue.

It's Important to note,,, that the Art-tech Pitts and the AhenZhen SAPAC Pitts s2a are not the same plane.

While they boast the same wingspan, they actually are different..
