RE: Saito FA-125 on Pulse XT 60

Better to have too power than not enough, you can always throttle back. The 125 saito is a great motor, I swing a 16X8 at around 8500 in the air. good motor for the plane. If gas is your choice the...

RE: Trailers Torsion bar suspension VS Leaf spring

It sounds like the shocks are gone on that trailer. Have you checked the weight distribution because that will cuase trailers to bounce around. I don't think torsion bars are going to help the...

RE: retracts or fixed?

If it was me I would say go big or go home hahaha, retracts are alot more work but it makes the plane much more sleek looking.

RE: Breaking in - OS FS 1.20 E Surpass Engine

In my experiance with O.S 4 strokes, the black oil coming out of motor is ok. The O.S motor don't have the compression that the Saito's do, so again I would say its normal. To be honest I've found...

RE: What oil to use for Saito storage

I use the same thing execpt I mix 50% Reslone in it. Do you run the engine dry at the end of the day? because raw fuel in the crankcase will cause rust.

RE: Sportster 60 power

I would say if you got it, try it. It's always better to have too much power then not enough in my opinion. I would run a Saito 115 or 125a.

RE: How Long Do Servos Last?

I would say to get rid of all of it too, in this case newer is better. I used to fly Kraft AM radio systems but they fell to new techonogly after a few crashes due to interferance.

RE: How much power?

I don't know that bipe, but I always use the rule better to have too much power then not enough because you can always throttle back. I would run a Saito 125A to compensate for the extra drag on...

RE: New Engine Select

If cost isn't an issue I would go with an O.S 160 twin with on board glow, fair bit of power and they sound perfect for a Cub. If the 160 is too pricey then I would use a Saito 150.

RE: Is this normal?

RE: U-CAN-DO-3D 46 SIZE WITH AN .61 EVOLUTION?

thats alot of motor for that size of plane, you might need to build up the front end a bit. If you can get it to balance and the prop clears the ground with the tail up I dont see y it wouldn't work....
