I asked Hitec on there Tech Talk forum about using the HS-6985's on the Yak.
Here is what they had to say.

Hitec does not recomend the Karbonites in the gasser models due...

If my trailer was stored outside I would be concerned, but it is always stored indoors.
Out of sight out of mind is the best thief deterrent.

One of our club members owns a graphics shop and he suggested my trailer needed a bit of graphics to spruce it up a bit.
Well one good idea lead to another and whole bunch of vinyl later we ended...

I went and read the thread "building a laser3D" it has lots of good information.

One suggestion was to sheet the stab and then build the elevator out of 3/8 balsa this would be very strong maybe...
