I would make the trade. I'm partial to T-maxx's, but there is good reason. You can do a lot with a T-maxx when it comes to aftermarket parts and modding.

T-maxx uses 14mm hubs for the 2.5, and I *think* 17mm for the 3.3. If you've got 14mm, I'd upgrade to 17mm, there are a better selection of wheels and tires at that size.
