yes, the m26ss is a strong engine with one simple fix, the lst2 stock pipe. it is a reliable engine that should last you till ya get comfortable with the truck.

yes, if the engine is warm the fuel will drop back. if it is running hot at idle try richening the lsn 1/8 of a turn. and go from there

i too would prefer the trinity monster horsepower over the byron, but i can say i never used much of the byron, my shop doesnt carry it.
