Yup prevents mine from melting. just make sure your lid is clean or the tape wont stick. If its a used body i use some shoegoo to help it stick

A new steering servo wouldnt hurt then you can move the stock one to throttle and brake duties. Also get a hump pack for your Rx

Honestly Not much breaks only real problems ive had are diffs but the bulletproof/cen diffs took care of that. Cant comment on the K engine i have the F4.6 with more than 8 gallons on it and it will...

It sounds like the owner is just trying to sell you what he has. The hobby shop probobly stopped selling savages because they werent breaking enuff so no parts sales for him.. T-maxx=$$$$$$ in parts...
