I don't have any chargers outside of the 3.7v 1 cell chargers that usually come with the park flyers I have. This one battery is something I might, maybe, use a couple time a year so I was hoping to...

I'm currently using it in an airsoft rifle, but want to use it in a cheap R/C plane I've had for years. (Figured the LiPo might get a little extra oomph out of the can motors in it - it is a 7.4v...

I can't find a charger, so why do they sell this battery?

I bought one of these batteries https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=m570.l1313&_nkw=223486362101&_sacat=0 a while back hoping I could use it in an old R/C plane that used a 7.4v NiMh...

RE: Kyosho Minium J3 Cub review

They can be found at:

http://www.kyoshoamerica.com/

I almost bought a Cherokee, but heard too many complaints about bound servos - they really need to use the linear-type that Parkzone has....

RE: Parzone Sukhoi Su 26m Micro

Thanks for that! I've had it sitting in a box until recently, trying to decide if I should just sell it rather than tinker with it. (It kind of bothers me I should have to fix a new plane, but...)

RE: Kyosho Minium J3 Cub review

Just as a follow up, I ended up selling this after I got tired of opening the thing to fix the new aileron servo. If the ailerons had any stress at all, they would lock-up, but instead of completly...

Parzone Sukhoi Su 26m Micro

I just got one of these second-hand from ebay and it seems to be in perfect shape. I have a question about the handeling of it, though - I am not as the box recommends, an "experienced aerobatic...

Kyosho Minium J3 Cub review

I got one of these on ebay recently for $150 (including shipping). I was looking forward to trying it out, so took it to a nearby parking lot, charged the battery (I do like having the charger...

RE: NI-MH oddness

Thanks for responding!
I guess I got confused after reading this article: http://www.masportaviator.com/ah.asp?CatID=2&ID=146

It makes it sound as though mAh are more a capacity issue than...

NI-MH oddness

I have a small plane that uses a 300mAh 7.2v battery. Ihave two batteries, neither of which power the prop properly (no pun intended) unless they have JUST come off the charger, and even then...

RE: CG question - 25% or 33%?

Well, I ended up trying it one more time - I fully charged the battery, put in a gearbox for the 370 motor that comes with all the Lanyu foamies, re-checked the CG, calculated the wing loading (16.26...

RE: 4 a noob, any thoughts on megatech's freedom flyer??

No.

I realize this is a very old thread, but I recently bought one of these off ebay. It had no damage, but once I put a new battery in it could, after about five attempt, get in the air with a...

Parkzone mini's and the cold

I just got done flying my Parkzone Citabria and Cessna - did I mention it's -4F outside? Apparently, according to some threads, LiPo's don't care much for the cold, which would explain why I could...

RE: AirHogs Nano Hawk (Silverlit Palm-Z)

I can't remember for sure, but I know that the rudder only works if the motor is getting power. It doesn't seem like it should have to be at full, though. I haven't flown mine in a long time, as...

RE: CG question - 25% or 33%?

Actually, the plane that I'm refering to is in photo #3. I've since re-adjusted the ailerons, and put the 370 motor with 9x 7 prop on it and it will stay airborne if I don't touch the elevator and...

RE: CG question - 25% or 33%?

Actually, I've been hand-launching because the thing won't fly at all with less than a 9x5 prop, which hits the ground because the original 180 motor only had a 7" prop.

RE: CG question - 25% or 33%?

Ok, I think I'm getting it - The numbers I prosted were for the stock plane before the additions, however. As I mentioned earlier, the actual weight is now 15 oz. SO, if I'm doing the math right, my...

RE: CG question - 25% or 33%?

Aaaaaargh! I just don't get it - I've done, theoretically, everything right with this stupid plane and I STILL can't get it to fly right. The CG, using the program, is just where it should be on the...

CG question - 25% or 33%?

Having recently discovered that I had a plane with a Center of Gravity about 50% behind the leading wing edge, I started looking at the CG of other planes that I have. Some fly well, some not so...

RE: Charge an 8.4v battery w/ a 7.2v charger?

It IS a NiMH battery. I also have an Estes "6-9" cell quick charger that doesn't state what votage it's for, though it came with a 7.2v plane. I just hate to quick-charge all the time because I know...

Charge an 8.4v battery w/ a 7.2v charger?

I bought a helicopter recently that has a 8.4v battery and charger. Unfortunately, not only did it arrive broken, it had a European plug. The seller told me I could use my 7.2v charger on the...

RE: Respirator for CA??

This has been used quite a bit in paleontology the last 15 years or so, but there is definately a camp that says this stuff is nasty and it should be avoided as much as possible. I don't think anyone...
