I prefer 10-15 MPH winds.. It helps slow my planes down on final and it helps me plant them into the aproach. Cross winds are ok but when its 90 degrees to the runway at 20 MPH its time to call it...

I put my portly yak on the scales again... Dry weight is 10 lbs 8 ounces. Its the Glodberg 67" yak thats no longer made. I put the 15x8 prop on it and it tacs at 9400. I still am breaking the...

Thats what I was thinking as well... Thanks for the response guys...

Im going to try a 15x8 tomorrow and see how it goes... If it does not pick up some I will get a 120 ax for it and be done...

My plane is a portly 11 pounds.... In no way will it do 3d.... I was wanting some prop sugestions to beef up the low end of it....

I use 4-40 on most of my planes as it is..

It looks like I will go with the saito 82 as well, it sounds like it has been a proven package!

Your own wing tube is not a bad idea... I have looked alot at trying to do my own carbon fiber stuff... I found these folks online that sell bulk fiber material...Bulk Carbon fiber ...
