Sounds like you stripped a gear in the front diff. Last time I stripped one I didn't even hear grinding but thats what is was.

Yup, diffs are a issue. I've already contacted HPI about their new Bullet Proof diffs that come on the newer Flux's and am being sent a free set. Hahahahahahahaaa!!!;)

I'm gonna have to say he was unlucky and got a crappy ESC or battery. Factory defects do happen. I say this because I am still using SMC 3s 3400 18c lippo's in my flux and have not suffered a burnt...

Yes, 10 pounds at 40 mph is probably not safe for a 6 year old to use unatended. The chances of some getting hit with a 40 mph sledgehammer isn't something to take chances on. The micro REVO is small...

Well as someone mentioned the 1/10 scale trucks weigh about 10+ pounds and go about 40mph. This is probably not a good idea for a 6 year old, a hit from a monster truck will hurt. The micro weighs...
