RE: Interested in flying helis

Yeah I've been into land vehicles for years, got into helis and the learning curve is steep. It took me almost two weeks to get a msrx into a stable hover. Those toy mall copters and coax are a waste...

RE: new vehicle ideas?

As for the servo, I'm running the savox on my buggy with a mmm and in my truggy with a rx8. I noticed some brownouts with the mmm but the glitch buster completely fix it.

RE: new vehicle ideas?

A great servo would be the savox tg1256 you could get one off eBay for about $60 shipped. It has rediculous torque. And while you are at it pick up a racer edge glitch buster (capacitor) to eliminate...

A 1/10 is a toy compared to 1/8. I could not make it thru a run ever with my slash 4x4 with out breaking something even after spending a total of $1100. I tried a 1/8 buggy for the first time, its...

RE: Taking the Mugen out for a spin

Pretty good spots to bash at Astoria Park, the skate park is great at night when no one is skating.

Taking the Mugen out for a spin

Had a light snow so I decided to take the truggy out. It caught a doggy's interest so I gave him a workout.

RE: Back in the hobby. I want a good BL Truggy.

The mugen mbx6t, serpent 811-t, team durango dnx408t, losi 8ight t, ssociated rc8t 2.0, hardbodies d8t are what you want to look at. Non of there come electric (except for the losi for a short time)...

RE: Mugen MBX7

You can't not go wrong with this car. I went from a slash 4x4 that handled like a brick and broke something every time out to a mugen mbx6 eco, wow! incredible performance out of the box, not one...

RE: Past and Future Trends

Then what is the point of running a body, just use an overtray and put a front spoiler over the shock towers. It will probably look just as "good" as cabforward and the .0012 lbs you save on weight...

RE: Past and Future Trends

We need to start getting more electric 1/8 truggies, lots of conversion kits but few are actually factory made and i think the electronics are up to the task now.

Strongest buggy wheels?

I recently started taking my buggy out to the skate park and after an outing the other night I noticed I cracked 2 of my spoked wheels. I really hate the look of a white solid wheel but I'm looking...

RE: Need advice on 1/8th scale buggy

I pickup up a mugen mbx6 eco after owning several traxxas cars that would break if you looked at them too hard. I have since bash harder that I ever dared since march and have only lost one pin in...

RE: NEW YORK CITY BASH

Nice bash, stepped it up a notch and lost a shock spring retainer. I can't believe how tough the mugen is, I was going wide open on 5s.

RE: NEW YORK CITY BASH

I have a mugen mbx6 eco 1/8 buggy with a tekin rx8/1900, I usually run it on 5s.

I also have a backslacsh 4x4 (1/8 buggy conversion) with a mmp 2400 sct system (the wifes car) and a rustler mmp...

RE: What is the closest 1:1 vehicle to a 1:8 buggy

You are right, I just thought there was some kind of desert buggy it was based on. It would look crazy 1:1 scale.
