Im pretty sure its the other way around..

front spring should always be stiffer than the rear to prevent nose dives during jumps..

well I use to run around 260-270 on the leanest carb setting possible without getting a bog..
I only started to suspect an air leak just a few days ago while driving on dirt when my temps hit 334...

I did an air leak test using soapy water and found an air leak in the front bearing..

-Is it normal for the front bearing to leak air when the engine is cold?

Ok guys here are the results of the air leak test:

Severe air leak found in:
1. Carburator -right where the throttle linkage connects
2. Main front bearing

When I dab the soapy water should the engine be runnig or just blow air into the fuel line or blow air trough the carb??

I hope the engine is not that busted yet, anyway...

Nice clean installation.. Used the same stock Firestorm engine mounts with minor modifications..
