It is a smooth break along the outer side of the weld all the way around. I thought defect as well but figured I just had to deal with it. I guess it wouldn't hurt to ask DDM about it.

I noticed that when I sprayed the carb on both sides w/ motor cleaner while it was running it would instantly die. I took carb off and replaced the 3 vertical gaskets and still same thing happenned....

I need new tires for my FHMT/FGMB but I guess I have to buy new wheels since they are super glued. Does anyone have any experience with peeling off used tires and re-gluing new ones on to old wheels?...

I just bought a used fg diff from ebay for my fhmt and noticed a considerable difference in how the wheels turn. The right wheel was always stronger but now it is really evident with the fg diff vs....

DO NOT BUY THAT TRUCK!! I did and it is pure junk. Had to dump a ton of money in it. Get the Duratrax firehammer mt instead. It will be cheaper in the long run. TRUST ME!

Those? I need the alloy large engine mount for the fhmt. If you have that then cool. Wherever I can get that (probably hobbythek) is where I will get the layshaft pinion and alloy diff.
