Caliber 5

I have an OS50 Hyper in a Caliber 5 and I am using a Futaba 9C. I set the end points to match the throw of the carb horn.
I can't get it to idle until I raise the bottom number on the throttle...

Kyosho also makes a ccpm linkage kit. You can get it from Heliproz for 35$ Getting one for mine! Comes with everthing you need to convert to ccpm. Uses same swashplate.

I have never set up a heli for CCPM and need some help. I have been flying a Caliber5 for about a year. I sold the Caliber and bought a Vibe 90 3D. I don't even know where to start setting up a CCPM...

I have been flying this heli for a long time so I know about throttle stick position at startup. It should also beep with stick all the way up. This is setup mode. It doesn't beep in any situation.

Sorry! I made a mistake. Blade 400 is by Eflite. Still cheaper than Trex and just as good.

I agree with buy the biggest heli you can afford. I started with a 50 size nitro (Caliber5) and a Trex. The nitro heli was the one I learned the most on. If you can't afford a big one the new Blade...

Turn gyro gain down in very small increments until tail stops wagging. When you set up gyro you turn gain up until tail begins to wag and then back it off to where it just quits wagging.

Is anybody useing or have you heard of the MultiGov governor? Is it as good as futaba GV1. Have you had any problems with one?

The manual shows receiver setup. If you have never done this before you will need help. I have futaba 9C radio and do not know JR setup. Aileron servo linkage on same side as needle valve on motor....
