RE: eurgle 2.4 ghz

Actually, forget that I even started to argue the topic. I've been in this hobby too long to get into an online arguement with someone half way across the world about whether or not an antenna wire...

RE: eurgle 2.4 ghz

It's not that I'm struggling to understand...I just don't believe what you're saying. There's a difference.

Is there somewhere in the manual that states the receiver wire cannot be bent? All I...

RE: eurgle 2.4 ghz

Yours is different than mine then...the last inch and a half of antenna on my receiver is just standard receiver wire, and is tucked under and out of the antenna cap. No different than any Spektrum...

RE: eurgle 2.4 ghz

As far as I know, the telescoping antenna is only used for FM/AM models...since the 2.4ghz module has it's own antenna, the telescoping antenna is not needed, hence the cap on top of the radio. Some...

RE: eurgle 2.4 ghz

A "horrible idea"? Say what???

My receiver antenna wire is nearly 5" long, and mounted in my SC10, it extends out of the included antenna tube by nearly an inch. The antenna is just a...

RE: eurgle 2.4 ghz

The antenna tube that came with my radio has a slightly larger inner diameter...the antenna seems to have an extra "wrap" on it about an inch from the end, and it would not fit inside the antenna...

RE: eurgle 2.4 ghz

If you can only run 3" of wire up the tube, cut the tube at 2 1/2", and let the extra 1/2" of wire hang over, and cap it.

RE: eurgle 2.4 ghz

The packs run great (they're my buddy's packs, not mine), however they're a little bit light compared to some of our 5000 hard case packs, so I think he's going to be selling them in favor of some...

RE: eurgle 2.4 ghz

My Fly Sky GT3 worked flawlessly while I TQ'd and won the A-Main in the Mod Short Course class at the WOR Motodome round 3 points series race...zero lag, zero glitches. Best $58 I've spent in R/C!!

RE: eurgle 2.4 ghz

Glad you're up and running. Regarding the beeping, what's your voltage at? Anything 9.3v and lower, and it's beep city.

RE: eurgle 2.4 ghz

The end points should be at 100% by default. I'd try recalibrating your esc to the radio...hopefully that works.

RE: eurgle 2.4 ghz

Steering and throttle were reversed for me as well. Not sure why you'd have no throttle...the esc isn't responding at all?

RE: eurgle 2.4 ghz

Did you take the bind plug out after you finished the binding procedure? Mine didn't respond until I turned everything back off, took out the plug, then turned it back on.

RE: eurgle 2.4 ghz

On a side note, I don't know if mine was already binded to the TX out of the box...I wanted to do it myself before using the radio to make sure everything was working properly.

RE: eurgle 2.4 ghz

These were the steps I took to bind my tx and rx last night...

1. Put the bind plug in the "bind" slot on the receiver.
2. Turn esc on to power rx (light should flash on rx).
3. While...

RE: eurgle 2.4 ghz

What "Brand" of wheel fits on the Eurgle? Futaba, JR, etc?

I definitely want to replace the stock wheel with something more flashy, and with a soft foam donut.

Mine came today, and no issues. Feels great, almost as good as my old JR Z-1 with the drop down wheel.

Could you forward the pictures to my e-mail address please? I have one of these radios coming today as well...maybe I can fix the issue before it becomes a problem.

RE: Replacement battery for Heng Long Mad Truck

There's a store on eBay out of Canada that sells parts for the Mad Truck, so that shouldn't be a consideration against the truck...mine will be here on Thursday, so I'll try to give a short review...
