You may have hit the nail on the head because one week after my heli arrived the ESC caught on fire during a flight and my supplier replaced it under warranty. I haven't given it another thought...

Thanks Nick, they arrived today so hopefully I'll get the chance to fit them up in the next few days and I’ll be back in action. At this stage I’m happy flying for sport however 3D is my goal....

Sounds like I made the right choice. In australia there called 385's I'm not sure if there the same servo's as the 285's ?
