Gotta agree... the DXPE's will give you enough grip to build the speed you are looking for and will slide really nice when you break them loose. Tread will not give you the grip you are looking for,...

no ball diffs in the rear...solid spool, ball diff will give traction...you want equal slip and grip at rear, that's why you use a spool.

@ ichibansf - it's looking good! on your question about the tensioner by the motor... I put this as close to the center pulley because as the belt wraps around the bottom of the center pulley and up...
